Privacy policy
Short version: Sealed does not collect your data. It stays on your device.
The app
- No account. You do not sign up and we do not know who you are.
- Local storage. Your envelopes, transactions and settings are stored on your device (in the browser's local storage for the web version). They are never sent to us or anyone else.
- No analytics, no ads, no trackers, no third-party requests. After the first load the app makes no network requests except to fetch its own updated files from this site.
- Imports. Statement files you import are read on your device and are not uploaded.
- Backups. Exports (JSON or CSV) are files you save yourself. You decide where they go.
This website
The site is served by a standard web server. Like any server it keeps short-lived access logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser string) for operations and abuse prevention, rotated automatically within about two weeks. We do not use cookies or analytics scripts on this site. The free calculators run entirely in your browser.
Deleting your data
Open the app, choose More → Erase all data, or clear this site's data in your browser. Because nothing is stored on a server, there is nothing else to delete.
Children
Sealed is a general-audience budgeting tool and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Because the app collects nothing, a change would be announced in the app before it applies.
